Namaste!
Welcome to Metta Yoga and thank you so much for taking your time to visit my website.
In this blog, I will go into detail of why I became a Yoga Teacher and what Yoga means to me. I started practicing Yoga as a gift to myself. Honoring my health, mind and my only temple through unifying my soul with my body and my senses. I was first introduced to Yoga when I was a young teenager through my first yoga book. I practiced by myself in my bedroom, wrote notes to myself in my journal and drew illustrations of the Asana postures. I have always been curious about the holistic approach to heal the body and mind.
SNEAK PEEK
As a sneak peek you will be introduced to the following topics in my future blog posts about:
1) The spiritual side of Yoga
2) Pranayamas (breathing techniques)
3) Meditation, through instructional videos and illustrations.
4) Therapy, both anatomical and ayurvedic.
5) Asana (the correct alignments to your body and how to perform the right positions.)
6) Buddhism, I am a Buddhist practitioner and will also incorporate many blog posts about the framework on how to focus our minds on single-pointedness, monkey mind (which is the unrestrained chatter we sometimes encounter on daily basis)
7) Motivational and inspirational videos.
8) Personal testimonies from our Yoga practitioners.
Namaste ॐ
