The Dance of Balancing Your Mind

I practiced my Metta Meditation today January 31st, 2018 after finishing my Kundalini Yoga Kriya we got as assignments from school, which was the Kriya, Stimulating Male Potency and my meditation called Conscious Existence – Open Up The Newness in You. I love to practice sitting meditation and my sādhana as this is the most sacred moments of stillness and reflection I can offer myself as it allows me to find devotion in my practice

Everything can be sādhana. The way you eat, the way you sit, the way you stand, the way you breathe, the way you conduct your body, mind and your energies and emotions, this is sadhana. Sadhana does not mean any specific kind of activity, sadhana means you are using everything as a tool for your wellbeing.

Sadhana Guidelines

Sadhana is also mentioned in the second chapter of a Yogic text called Yoga Sutras By Patanjali as Minimizing gross colorings that veil the Self (2.1-2.9) (tapah svadhyaya ishvara-pranidhana kriya-yogah)

2.1 Yoga in the form of action (kriya yoga) has three parts:

1) training and purifying the senses (tapas)
2) self-study in the context of teachings (svadhyaya)
3) devotion and letting go into the creative source from which we emerged (Ishvara pranidhana).

tapah = accepting the purifying aspects of painful experience, purifying action,
training the senses
svadhyaya = self-study in the context of teachings, remembrance of sacred
word or mantra
• ishvara = creative source, causal field, God, supreme Guru or teacher
pranidhana = practicing the presence, dedication, devotion, surrender of fruits
of practice
• kriya-yogah = yoga of practice, action, practical yoga

Sādhana is a discipline undertaken in the pursuit of a goal. Abhyāsa is repeated practice performed with observation and reflection. Kriyā, or action, also implies perfect execution with study and investigation. Therefore, sādhanāabhyāsa, and kriyā all mean one and the same thing. A sādhaka, or practitioner, is one who skillfully applies mind and intelligence in practice towards a spiritual goal.


My Personalized Metta Meditation which I recite every time after Sadhana. 

Sending love to myself first,

May I be at Peace
May I have Lovingkindness
May my heart grow and encompass all love
May I be at Ease
May I have compassion

Then to someone, I love dearly,

May my boyfriend whom I love be at Peace
May he be at Ease
May he find all that he struggles with a balance of Positivity
May he have Lovingkindness
May you be at Peace
May you be at Ease

Then to someone that is an acquaintance,

May you have Lovingkindness
May you be at Ease
May you be at Peace
May your heart grow to encompass love and share love

Then to someone who has hurt me badly,

May you be at Peace
May you be at Ease
May you have Lovingkindness
May you find that your heart grows bigger and bigger encompassing love
May you share love and find the compassion to understand

To all people in the world, my local area, my city, my country and then the whole world, 

May all people that live near my near proximity find Lovingkindness
May they be at peace
May my yoga teacher find it in her heart that her heart grows bigger encompassing love and understanding
May all people living in the city find lovingkindness in their heart
May all people living in my country find happiness and joy in their life
May all people of this world have compassion and be free from suffering
May all beings be free, live to their truest potential, find grace in each moment

This text below is a 7-minute long recording from where I started to focus on finding the answer to how we as individuals might find a solution to life`s struggle we are having a hard time to cope with.

The Dance of Balancing Your Mind: The 2 Doors

When we find ourselves unsettled in the mind, there are two doors presented in front of us. One is balance which is the truth, the path of purification, the path of loving kindness, where we share and spread seeds of love, bliss, joyfulness, and acts of kindness. The other door is where most people go through, without coming out because they are blinded by not having any other choices that they, in reality, have access to.

In this life we have a soul, experiencing human life and it`s destined that this soul that you are carried by in this human body will face hardships and also carry weights of burdens within you. But if we try to invite the positive door and open this door within ourselves, we will begin to feel a little more loving towards ourselves, because we welcome compassion into our own hearts and our own minds. As this path clears its truth in front of us, you will begin to feel as if you are carrying less weight around with you, you will find the stability within yourself. To carry out and live your own truth which your heart speaks of. So this session is about The Dance of Balance that is within you so that you do not have to struggle with only one alternative. There are many more doors for you to adventure in, and all those doors are there within you, waiting for you to open them. I invite you to open the door to love, and self-compassion within you. Because once you enter that door you have become truth itself.


Thank you for your time reading this! REMEMBER now, that in all of us we have a choice to overcome the most traumatic of experiences, negative situations and emotional turmoil that we may be going through in our lives at this moment, all of us do, at some point in time. The point is that everyone has a choice to welcome a more balanced heart, a more stable mind, and a solution to turn to when times get rough and you feel like you are drowning and no-one is there to pull you up. Believe me, I have been there and I have struggled immensely with depression, anxiety, bad relationships, insomnia, the list goes on and on. The final decision is always about you.
You are the only one that can turn you around
YOU are the ONLY one that can turn YOU around. The reason I write these segments and share my personal meditations with you is that I believe in the power of inspiration because if we let us be inspired we become creators of our own destiny. It`s quite magic don`t you think? That in YOU is the full potential of a self-loving, caring, compassionate and dedicated SOUL. You need to make the path yourself first and foremost, the road to healing, self-love, and self-exploration takes time, its bound to be a road of big stones blocking your path to liberation and freeing yourself from suffering. But have you thought about if we never knew about the negative aspects of life how would it be possible for us to love so deeply? How could we romanticize a poem if there were no one with experiences of loss, sorrow or death even? We need the polarities so we can delve deeper into the truth and essence of things, from there we find gratitude and the birth of an awakened heart.
